That's tiny market.

We import almost 300 million dollars of guns a year. At 1000 a day in sales vs USA at 44000 a day.

Even if it was 1/4 that it's still 300 million for mostly the same gun the make anyways, plus what the hell stops them from selling the exact same gun in the USA, it's not like americans would hate our version. The fact crusader arms exists in the USA shows Americans are open to weird guns.

Also companies like Lockhart tactical, Kodiak, and crusader arms make money otherwise they wouldn't be doing this. Lockhart tactical can't even keep up they have a 3 month backlog of guns they need to make.

And people still buy them even though they have massive QC issues.

Its oddly both. PSA is selling the complete rifle, but also just the bullpup lower for existing AR-15 lower fitting Jakl uppers. In theory, if you could convince the Horsemen to fit a 180 fitting cut lower under the NoDak 180's FRT , you could sell a whole 180 Jakl bullpen, but this is unlikely.

if you have ever shot a tavor you know the optics sit too low. now it looks like the cheek piece raises your face up by another 1/4", meaning you probably need a riser to avoid an eye socket weld

If 800 000 Canadians bought one (not saying that many would) and they were only 1500 dollars it would be 1.2 billion dollars in sales. If it is profitable for them, our smaller market isn't a reason for them not to make it happen.

Even hypothetically. Their market is low profit margin and high volume. Getting to 800,000 sales is very hard as CZ858s we're around the 200k mark after a decade?

Plus 1.2 in Sales - import, minus expense A,B,C etc.

When you talk about modifications to existing lines it's easier for Manufacturer. Change a die or length here or there as a sub category. Okay, an additional 50,000 units is acceptable. Look at CZ, won't make a Bren for Canada as it's not worth the time and money as they're busy.

Scaling up and down costs time and money.
