Official CanadianGunnutz 20th Anniversary

I was lurking for years prior to joining and posting. Glad I started and finally did, it honestly changed the direction of my life.

I likely wouldnt've gotten my PAL otherwise, changed my voting-direction's supporting opinions and general political priorities. The community got me politically involved in a few different ways, including filing atips and sharing information with some in the know

I think a t shirt idea and stickers could be sold as a package and would be cool, and the t shirt could have different pictures all making up the 20 years memorable moments. Picture of a gun halfway into an open dishwasher, Daver asking his newborn what his pronouns are, the infinite lineup online for VZ58'S selling new for 400$, John at marstar yelling at someone. Ect.

I rather see the retro 2005 ish shirt brought back.

woohoo!

Happy 20th CGN and 20 more to come.
And thank you for making a place where we can be with like minded people.

Cheers!

Happy anniversary cgn! The only thing I’d change is being able to post pictures to the forum directly instead of using a 3rd party
Actually as a Team member you can add pic or video directly above the index box where you will see two icon, just click on it you can attach directly instead of through other platform.

That tool and the image management within it isn't worth the time it took to write the code. Way easier to use a remote host and more storage capacity to boot. IMGBB comes to mind. Oh and it's free.

"it is decided that we will invest on overhauling the entire CGN website and the underlying forum application. We are hoping to see this in 2H 2024 - but like anything in the firearms industry and software development it is always delayed for 2 more weeks perpetually so please do not hold your breath while getting excited."

Thank you for even hinting that you'll be bringing this coughing and wheezing website into the 21st Century.

Prior to March/April 2004 a guy could lurk and post, after that a membership/login was required. Hence the large number of March/April 2004 join dates.

My join date shows march 14th, 2004, but I'm pretty sure I was around on an earlier version.
Congratulations to CGN on twenty plus wonderful years. I have made friends, learned a lot and enjoyed most every minute of it.

No, the site had 2 data crashes and everybody accounts were lost. So it was people that previously were a member rejoining. March 2004 is when it's been stable. But this url site has been around longer, I was talking to Jay and we both remember it crashing twice before it was stable, but we cannot remember when we actually joined, but it was before.
