The rear sights on the new Colt Pythons wiggle and are loose. I replaced mine with Wilson rear sight and Wilson Gold bead front sight. Cost a bit to import along with parts for my EDCX9 but worth it.

I always wanted the original blued model in 6". Guess Ill have to be happy with my early 90s stainless 6". The Liberals really screwed a lot of honest people.

Owning both an older 6” blued Python and a newer 4.25” SS Python, there is a significant difference between the two with regards to how the triggers feel. The older one has a much lighter and smoother trigger but where things are really noticeable is shooting them in double action. With the older Python, as the trigger is pulled and the hammer comes back, there is a noticeable click’ before hammer falls. This feature is nonexistent in the newer Pythons. That said if given the opportunity, I’d still buy a new 4.25” blued model just for the appeal factor.

The nice thing is the 4.25 inch barrel comes standard. If Pierre rolls back the handgun ban -- and I believe he will -- then those should become available up here PDQ afterwards. The new one sounds like it has a nice double-action, I'd sure be interested in trying one out myself.

I wish but that's never going to happen. He won't touch it with a 10-foot poll. If he becomes PM, what benefit would he gain by doing so? Are conservatives, in large numbers, all of a sudden vote Liberal or NDP if he doesn't repeal the handgun ban? Has he ever promised to repeal it? Therefore, breaking a promise made to his voters?

I don't want you to be disappointed, so I'm trying to let you down gently, lol.
