Wondering if anyone has one or even seen one in Canada? Quite unique with its oddball bullet size. 200gr to 400gr bullets. 2950fps with the lighter weights and over 2300fps with the 400gr.

From a reloading standpoint I'd lean towards the .416 Taylor, both cartridges are quite similar.

I read an article that compares the 2. I'm looking for another thumper and 416 taylor has been an interest to me as I have alot of 458wm brass I can neck down. The 400HH is also tempting. Both have head stamped brass that I could use if I were to travel

Why anyone in North America would want this big metric rifle when the .416 Rem Mag is of equal performance and with all the components readily available.
No one in N.A. will stock 10.3 metric bullets and 10.3 x 68 brass ...

Prophet river has the bullets in stock right now. The case is based on the 375hh case which is common. Care to try again?

That really surprises me... but I have been out of retail for many years... I don't understand why anyone (in North America) would choose this 10.3 x 68. It's not like that power range hasn't been covered for many years...

Why the hell would anyone want a 6.5 Creed. "It's not like that power range hasn't been covered for many years..."

Why not? Fun? I'm old but got a 9.3 x 62 a few years ago and will never hunt it; but reloading and shooting is fun, and everyone wants to fire it.

Coolest big bore at my club presently.

Exactly!! Who needs a reason for something different?!?! I have a rifle coming with 2 barrels one in 7x65r and one in 9.3x74r… why? Because!

Exactly DGY, who needs a reason something different?!?!?
The Swiss did , they just adapted to something legislated and now we have another caliber to chase discuss or slag by the uneducated ;)
And in True American Fashion a gun writer/firearms publisher provided the seed foe another must have for the few .
I do hope to see a thread or two when your new 2 barrel firearm arrives.
I am sure it will provide copious amounts of joy and appreciation.
Tight Groups and Good Hunting All.

Because it's different and we can. No common sense involved, I agree. Lots of other similar cartridges out there with bullets and brass not difficult to find. I'm in the process of building a 10.75x68, I've got the Mauser action, a .423" barrel, reamer, brass ($150 for 20pc) and lots of bullets. Just waiting for dies. When it's all together, I will have one, and most others won't.
