Might be better than being stuck with a “within spec” banana rifle that has no resale value.
Oh, the hype is completely gone at this point. Pretty much just waiting to see if I'm gonna sell it or use it. Keeping my hopes quite low.
It'll sell. Even if bent. I wouldn't worry.
If you require a time machine to differentiate military spec quality verses whatever these M81's are, then I can't help you...even if I had a time machine, pretty sure the trip would be wasted.

In 6 months UFs will probably be 2 grand on GP. At that point selling for $1200 (MSRP) someone will buy it!
Last firearm and ammo I bought was handed to my 14 year old son. He is kinda a big boy, so I understand that the driver did not think much, lol. That was UPS.
I don't know what accessories you ordered but some of them, like slings, magazines etc. are sold out. So, TI must re-order them again from wherever.

To all the 248XX and up gang, good news from my end, I got the shipping notification at 11 pm last night with delivery by EOD today. Apparently is waiting for me at my closest post office, finally the wait is over for me. I ordered sling, extra mag, 2 x 5/10 mags, slant break and the handguard, I expect to get everything but the handguard. I'll post some pictures later. And for what its worth, I did get it 3 days before my credit card statement xD
I just ordered the slant brake, back when I was still pumped about this rifle.
I don't see in their conditions of sale how much time is reserved for shipping, but if it exceeds 30 days I imagine that it is also questionable with your bank, the restocking costs can be justified when it is there customer's fault, but if you do not receive your gun within a reasonable time or covered by the conditions of sale it is their problem not yours.

You mean the "slant compensator"? They are still in stock. Perhaps, they have to transport them to their warehouse in Calgary. I ordered a slant compensator, 2x5/10 magazines and a sling, and received all items together with the rifle in the same package from Calgary. But I ordered on March 12. I guess that at that time they had all accessories available in Calgary.
You should be still pumped about this rifle. The more I shoot my underfolder, the more I like it. And I'm most likely much older than you with dozens of various guns under my belt.
