No accessories, no issues with payment, RCMP license check etc

I think with the numbers of orders, TI is swamped.

Personally, I'd rather TI wasn't on here answering every question vs filling orders... It takes time away from shipping T81 rifles!

VERY happy with my T81M under folder from Tactical Imports.

Initial impressions, it's heavy, I actually like the colour, the bolt cycles gritty (like any new ak'ish rifle I assume until it's been fired a bunch), appears straight & while there is a slight difference side to side in how the under folder lays up against the front hand guard, it doesn't bother me. There is a little play in the stock when folded out & a bit more when it is folded, again it doesn't bother me. Oh, and the pistol grip was a little loose so I tightened it.

I would give this purchase a solid AWESOME in my books! :rockOn:

Are you trying to get a replacement for a fixed stock or underfolder?

Mine was expected delivery yesterday, but still scanned in Calgary. Later in the evening it got processed through Winnipeg, hopefully the next stop is Ottawa. Delivery date is now tomorrow
 
Order 2653X finally arrived. Got lucky with a straight rifle but missing accessories unfortunately. With all the missing accessories beibg reported it makes you wonder who is signing off on these orders when they get packed

I received the Samson Arms cheek riser yesterday, tried it on quickly last night. It is significantly higher than my wooden one, so you have to tilt your head/neck a bit more to lign up the center. Wich is still doable and tall enough to classify as cheek rest.. :)

One thing to keep in mind, this thing takes up a bit of room between the stock arm and the receiver when folded. So if you plan to use a "no sideplate" direct mount, or the traditional side plate, you might have to modify something, or move the riser farther back on the stock..

Havnt received my Type 81 yet, but Dmitri got his in and confirmed the Samson cheek riser fits. Its also a great pic of a type 81!

That’s wild that you ordered first, received last AND missing accessories. One of the ones TI described as falling by the wayside.
 
Just unboxed my T81M underfolder and was playing around with it, checking mag fitment, cycling the action ,etc. and somehow my bolt carrier is now stuck in the rearward position. There is no magazine in the rifle and it seems that the trigger is depressed/won’t reset. Additionally the safety seems to be stuck. I’m thinking that maybe something funky is going on with the safety and/or trigger group. Has anyone else run across this and what is the fix?
 
I am currently waiting for my Type 81M Underfolder (ordered April 1st, guess I'll be waiting awhile). Been pretty nervous seeing the posts around bent barrels. Out of curiousity, how significantly would a bend that is not covered by warranty (under 4mm) impact accuracy between 100 to 200 meters? Would there be a way to reliably correct the bend without weakening the barrel?

The barrel is not bent......

It is the connection between the barrel and the trunion at the front of the receiver that is not lined up properly. Unless you want an optic on it that has a small windage adjustment then there will be no effect on sighting in with iron sights to 200m other than the front sight will be harder over to one side than normal.
