Anybody out there with actual experience with this cartridge? I am not interested in google search data, thanks, just personal experience. I have load data from a computer program, but none from actual users.

What is the barrel length and twist? You may not be able to stabilize that bullet. So, here is a bit of an update, and to bring this onto the first page again......The published data seems to indicate a maximum COAL of 3.23". BUT in my rifle that bullet is well into the rifling and pressure, already fairly high, might get catastrophically so. I decided I want to try a 103 grain Hornady ELD-X bullet for my first load, and it has to be seated quite a bit deeper, for a COAL of 3.1675". I am waiting for another member here who has a couple computer load data programs, to suggest a starting load. Looks like H1000 will be the first powder to try.
So>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>anybody out there with real world experience with this cartridge?

Yeah, 1:7 should easily stabilize that bullet... can you describe your rifle for us?It has a VERY short barrel, at only 18 inches. Not the length I would have chosen for this chambering, but I did not have it built. The twist is 1:7, so it should stabilize the heavier bullets. I reckon I am going to find out.........
