It may have been. I see a lot of parts there but no upper handguards. Not for the carbine anyway.

Do you have No.4 enfield rear upper handguard on hand? I was just looking at mine and it would make a great substitute if cut to length. The only issue is that the barrel inletting in too wide at the chamber end.
The 1895 carbines are often found without the handguard. Hard part to find original. Serves no purpose really but not as built from a collector standpoint if missing.
Do you have any other Russian 1895 parts you could get measurements from? I'm trying to restore a sporterized one right now, and it would be a great help!
Can also look at 3d modelling and metal 3d printing or CNC the parts...I got it from reliable gun a few months back for pretty cheap!I have a complete gun. PM me your email and I'll do my best
Oh, did you get the sporter from Switzers? Have a friend who is on one hand dying to have a russian winchester but is unbelievably cheap. I was trying to get him to buy it so I could help him restore so I'm very happy you are asking

I never found one. I ended up making my own reproduction from (if I remember correctly) the upper handgard for an enfield no.4 from snider shooter. He made one but left the barrel channel uncut because the 1895 gard is thicker. I then modified it. I used smle upper handgard clips to mount it.
