Scout Scopes, where are they?

I am loving this setup. What caliber marlin is that? And what scope and rings? Also where did you get that peep site?

It's a 2000 era 1895GS in 45-70.

The scope is a Leupold IER FX 2.5X in low Weaver QD rings. It lines up fast for me with both eyes open.

The ghost ring is from Wild West Guns in Anchorage, the front sight came with the peep and is a Williams Firesite. It had a cutaway stainless steel hood but I lost it.

It also has the WWG Happy Trigger, one piece ejector, aluminum mag follower, mag tube light mount and a Pachmayr recoil pad.

I actually threw together a pair of them in 22lr and 22wmr.
455 stainless with soft touch synthetic stocks
Tech sights, tsm200cz
I think I used 10/22 takedown cantilever rails.
Smith cost me about 100$ per rifle for drill and taps of the rail and front sights.

I have since picked up a second Burris 2-7 as I prefer it over the Leupold. It has better turrets, I like the reticle better and it has pretty nice glass. The Leupold was a little underwhelming to be honest and I find the turrets to be quite mushy with no tactile or audible clicks. It has nice glass and the mag ring is nice and smooth but I do like the Burris better. Currently I have a Burris 2-7 on a Levtac 92 and one of a Ruger Scout in 308. The Leupold is on a S&W 1854. I plan on adding another lever soon, either a 30-30 or a 45/70 and I will probably go with a Burris for that as well.
