Don't fret the problems. As with anything commercially produced expect at least some glitches. It's not a gun yet, just a kit. Go slow, pay attention, figger it out, fix it carefully, smooth it out, and you will be very happy with what it is. Could be some thing machined wrong, bent, ruff, dirty, put together wrong, too much grease,or hardened grease, something too loose or too tight, stuck maching chip that caused any or all of those problems or a combo! You could have spent 10 times more cash and still run into glitches. The best part is by the time you get it tuned to you, you will know the gun well and love it very much even if it's not the new gun you want.( and you will ) LOL.(they're like kisses, one's just not enough) LOL. Oh, And to the naysayers: Sometimes the glitch takes awhile to show up. That can be real crappy...ie design error! Ouch! LOL. We're all here to help each other, not belittle each other. I have guns worth next to nothing and guns worth lots. I love them all in thier own way. You can't compare a norc 54 to an s&w 627 but you can have a lot of fun with both. AS for dryfiring, I am very curious why (mecanically) that would make any difference. Most modern guns are not suseptible, If this one is I am very curious why.I haven't had one apart yet. Please all replys to that question greatfully accepted. Just my 2 cents. thanks. M.
