Seeing as gopher season is not too far away I was just wondering what the general consensus was on these rifles. I'm sick of my semi-auto .22 and I want a bit more gopher slaying power without breaking the piggy bank on ammo. (ie. im not going to use a .223 on rodents). Are there any good and affordable .17 hmrs I should be looking at? (i think i want a bolt-action as well)... who makes the more reliable/accurate rifle? Is there another caliber I should be considering? Thanks guys, i don't know as much as I should about rimfires.
