How would you attach a bipod to this ?

Putting a bipod on a lever action would be the last thing I do, I’d just use a bag if I was shooting it off the bench. I typically dislike bipods to begin with.

I would think you could build up the inside of the bipod a bit with some black tape or put a bit on the magazine tube until it was flush with the forend and then the bipod would probably hold tight.

Plastic clip on bipod, cheap to buy, works on the bench, easy to carry + use. I bought one in 1974 ... still have it lol

From my reading and personal experience getting the best results shooting traditional lever action style rifles from trhe bench requires a very different technique than shooting solid stocked rifle (eg. bolt actions) when shooting for maximum accuracy (load development).I don't think a bipod would be optimal for that use.

borrow or buy a typical stock riding bag, build up underneath it with lumber, can shoot them in the bag riding groove or turn sideway and over the top, I had no prob shooting moa groups with a 5.5 lb grendel and a red dot sight on my 15" gong at 206 yards doing zero set up on the red dot with my caldwell tack driver turned sideways, though like I said watch the sling swivel stud spot as they tend to wanna tear into the bag although yours will be out of the way on that lever, not sure anything will simulate how you're gonna shoot that rifle any better than the bag style rest, they are handy and you can shoot little wee half moa groups to 500 out of them with a regular scoped bolt action, I never had problem, mandatory kit with my range gear
