yeah i wish i just got a reciever as ive now almost replaced most internals, nice to have spare parts on hand though

Any purple anodizing on your receivers? Some pictures of the most recent receivers would be appreciated! Side by side with milspec AR receivers even better!

My lower looks slightly purple in the photo, but in person appears black. The upper has no purple tinge at all.

The last batch thr range view turned out pretty good. Not purple but the upper was also a different shade than the lower

Mine doesn't look purple at all indoors but under bright sunlight or certain lighting conditions it becomes purple.

Factory built rifle.... Had a big issue today. After 400 rounds or so through the rifle the barrel nut came loose on me.

I've never touched it. Kinda surprised. Could be a KB waiting to happen

How loose could it get? The notch in the gas tube would keep it from turning. Going to be necessary to move the gas tube to pull the barrel nut up tight. Wrench and reaction rod needed.
Bolt locks into the barrel extension, so breeching would be unaffected.

The barrel nut has no notches is a low profile type for lazy builders
