Some friends and I out shooting Cryptos.
They do not like enhanced BCGs.
Looks like the rear of the enhanced BCG get hung up sticks to rear when charging the rifle
We did not shoot the guns with the Enhanced BCGs.

x2 and have had zero issues with the Ballistic Advantage, tho this is a sister company and likely the exact same part with a slightly different finish.

Good info, thanks! I'm planning on just using a BCG that is in my spare parts box, I can't recall the manf. Will be getting another spare though so good to know to stay away from enhanced BCGs. I miss the days of easily available, inexpensive Toolcraft BCGs...

Wonder if it's because of the buffer tube, I have an JP FMOS BCG and don't have any problems at all

That's odd, the carriers should be generally the standard M16/AR15 shape. The two relevant big changes for enhanced BCG are shrouded firing pin (many non-enhanced have this too) and modified cam pin path. Are the "standard" BCG full auto cut or semi auto cut?

Mine's coming along, just waiting for the barrel assembly, which should be here next week (assuming Canada Post doesnt screw me by going on strike, anyway...) If anyone's wondering, the ejection port cover on mine fit and solidly locks closed properly with no modification. The fact that different people are having different minor issues with these receiver sets really makes me wonder about the quality comtrol and dimensional consistency of the receivers. Guess we'll see.

Looks awesome, the only thing I am struggling to find is the 20" barrel with FSB for my service rifle clone. Can't seem to find one anywhere and the only retailer to restock did so while I was away... go figure. Sucks that they did end up going on strike, hopefully it will end soon.

at 300 rounds now and it just keeps doing better, a friend and i went through 150 rounds in an hour at the range

I had the same problem, but found one on the EE - a complete light-profile DAK-marked barrel assembly from an SP1. Should work well for what I have in mind when it arrives . Of course the Canada Post strike has now delayed it all, sigh

Also got the pmags and crossmags sliding in. With that modification it makes it the best NR rifle on the canadian market

ya don't think anything is moving for parcels untell the strike comes to an end. I have a new x95 stuck at the calgary sort facility. It was supposed to arrive tomorrow, But now not sure of I'll see it in a week or a couple months who knows.
