I have an upcoming prairie cow elk hun at the end of January 2025. I have been testing loads with IMR 4350 with the TTSX 120gr bullets, grouping nicely at 100 yards , chronied at 3200. I do want to give Reloder 25 a try with these 120 gr bullets. Relader 25 with hornady 120 was my go to load in my beauty old Sako L61R in 25-06.
Any of you fellows ever load TTSX 120 gr is a 6.5 caliber chamber.... thanks FS

My son uses the 120's in his 6.5x284 which is super close tp your 6.5/06
I 'll try to did put some data for you!

Probably get almost 100 fps more with RL25 than IMR 4350 at equal pressures, try some and see if it groups
Thanks t b I did mention that in my 25-06 with 120gr bullet and the same case as 6.5 06 I was getting a very accurate combination. Think I will start at 55gr and work up

Bear... I time for each rifle is enough for me, 19 calhoun, CZ 22 hornet, sav 12 in 22-250. sav 12 in 243, Sako L61 R in 25-06. Steyr 6.5 x 55, and maybe the 6.5-06
Do they all shoot into "one hole?"

I'm not knocking any of your firearms or choices of cartridges "one hole?????????"

I'll just add this - the only difference between a 0.2moa rifle and a 1.2moa rifle is how many rounds you put into the group
Some guys don't stop loading until the group is one ragged hole, some guys buy very accurate rifles. some guys get lucky. some guys don;t have a wife and children can devote as much time as they want to their hobby

With the /06 case capacity, I would be very tempted to go to 140 grain bullets, especially with larger game animals... not that the 120's won't work, of course. You may find better accuracy, particularly as the range increases. I moved from 120's to 140's in my 6.5 Rem Mags... not trying to multiply your variables, but it improved my 6.5 shooting.

One hole guns do not exist. Can a few shots land into "one hole"? Sure it can happen, but it's not reality or repeatable

120TTSX is no slouch on game. Here's a recovered one from the far side hide of a moose after breaking some bone
