After moving to Canada full-time I have spent the last 4 months researching best options for a custom build for comps, fun and some hunting without braking the bank. I sold all my guns prior to moving and can't afford to replace everything I had as each had a specific use case.
So I have come up with this build which I think will be the solution. Any other suggestions I am all ears and appreciate any feedback.
6mm Creedmoor
Mack Bros Evo Stainless Action
Krieger 1/7.5 MTU 26"
Bix'n Andy Tac Sport Pro
MDT XRS Chassis with enclosed fore end with front and rear weights
- this chassis and weighting system gives me the ability to change use cases easily
10/12 round AICS Mag
Heathen Brake 4 Port G2
MDT CKYE-pod GEN2 single pull short/PRS - bipod
MDT one piece scope mount
Toric UHD 4-25X50 34 mm MRAD ELR FFP scope
When shooting down south I configured two builds the same way but in different calibers and am considering doing the same now. 6mm Creedmoor and 22LR mostly for practice and to keep expenses down. Anyone else do this or have thoughts? To me it helps to stay in sync, feel and accuracy etc.
Will be shooting at the Rocky Rod Range this year which has distances up to 600 Meters. Can't wait to get out
