Probably the best looking aftermarket hand guard to date but damn for 300usd I think I’d rather just but the American mod 2 hanguard for a 3rd of the price

I like the OEM MOD 2 handguard the best over any of these.

Going to pick mine up at the post office today & add a heat shield like on my Gen2 Tac.

Drop your shotgun in dirt, mud, etc & those multi mlok slots & gaps will ingest what should never be in your action or blink gas system.

Very cool, and if I didn't have the zhukov handguard I'd be all over this. With that, I'm more interested in the LTT Labyrinth heat shield at this point.

Nice to see some more proliferation of the 1301 aftermarket!

The gas system or action is exposed under the mlok slots? That feels like a bad design...

I'm also having issues figuring out how the gas system works if it's exposed to the elements like that? Wouldn't gas just piss out the mlok slots and not cycle the action?...
 
The GG&G heat shield is also a nice option and it works with the Zhukov handguard.

For those that want to order your own & set this up yourself, the heat shield can be purchased here.

They ship to Canada, I have purchased several to build this set up for others.

You will notice that the heat shield comes with 2 clamps, where on my heat shield I have removed one.

I have tha Aridus handguard and their adapter and it fit perfectly. I know GG&G say that it will only fit with their modified Zhukov handguard but I still bought knowing this and it worked out great.
 
Just an observation, you are not going to be able to C clamp your heatsheild if your running OEM sights.

Your thumb is in the way.
