ANOTHER New Product Alert: Savage Mark II Enhanced Magazine Release

Not currently in the plans or project list, we initially looked at the 93r17 (same action, different magazine) and it posed additional complications. Perfect world we wanted one product that would work for both, but sadly can't happen.
Thanks for the info, the wife would give her left nut for one of these on her minimalist 22 mag. And don’t judge she’s a good cook. Well. An ok cook

First of all, we all seem to love Rick's new mag release and bottom plate design. ( no-one said they don't like it!)

Second, most agree Rick can charge whatever he wants. In saying that, back to, sell a lot or a little. It's very simple.

Third, ATRS makes gorgeous items period. But it isn't made of gold!......:)

Last, no one is crapping on anyone here.

Rick's stuff rocks, no doubt. If some pay $125.00 for this great item, excellent, others will not.

I would buy four sets if they were priced more reasonable.

This is my opinion only, thank goodness we can still have one.

Keep trudy in power and that will change.......:(
Where did this idea originate from ?

I've seen this mag release design on you tube.

Hey David,

As far as I know, this was Rick's design from ATRS. I'm sure he can chime in to confirm.

I'm going to buy one and try it on several different rifles before buying a bunch of them.

The idea is epic, I love the look and the obvious ease of dropping out the magazines........:)

Not at all.

We had a customer approach us with a 3D printed prototype he had been working on, we built off his design and sent him one or two as a thank you. I feel bad because I can't think of his name off the top of my head right now, but absolutely credit for the initial concept and method of function goes to "him".

That is 100% one of ours in that video, the original 3d printed prototype didn't have the same front edge, and a couple other details.
That one in the video was mine but I had really liked how you made the front button larger so I added that feature but a little more rounded!

To fit this wooden stock I had surface milled the face that meets the wood to better fit the curve and needed additional clearance for the mag.

I machined my final one because it would be too thin for my 3D printer
