Theres a TAB on the rear of the stock that rubs up against the rear of the receiver. If thats not filed down enough then it does not fully lock in place...

Palinak, with the new style of tactical hand guards (quick detach), can you still use the iron sights without re-zeroing?

You can use your irons with the handguard on, you can also use the lower with a standard upper, if you just want a forward grip.
The new upper will retain zero after taking it of and putting it on.

Its right on the back of the folding stock, Its a tab that sticks out and when you close it, you will notice that it will blind up against the rear of the receiver...

Remove a little bit untill it lock up rock solid..

I noticed with the first gen railed handguards ( RAS ) that you could not use your iron sights. To get a sight picture, I had to put the rear sight at 600m to clear the top rail, then raise the front sight.

Yeah .....that was a option but you could have also removed just the rail if not using a optic.

There is a groove in the new upper

Be Careful

The extra metal is there for a reason - dont file it - enjoy a tight folder - they wear and you can close it tight. If you file - you WILL end up with a wobbly stock. Just make sure you push extra hard to close it till it wears.

doing a local CZ shoot isnt a bad idea we should set something up

regarding OKO .... I did contact them it took them almost half a year to send me their product list and price lists. Not sure what kind of interest there would be.

Is there a mod or has anyone modded the mag release so that it can be released from the right side?

I would like to be able to release the mag with my right index finger and remove the mag by knocking it out with the back of my left hand. This would shave a fair bit of time off when doing matches.
