I heard that North Korean steel is so hard it can withstand the blast of a 100 megaton nuclear weapon with no adverse effect. A gunsmith once told me that he ruined his tungsten carbide cutters just by looking at a Korean pistol the wrong way............C'mon man you know it's gotta be made with some kinda secret recipe steel that's as hard as all get out......................![]()
It is actually a fairly good pistol. It has improvements over the original Tokarev and it still shoots the 7.62x25 which is a fast little round. Because it is unusual I would like to have one.
Anyone ever seen a Type 68 pistol for sale before? They seem to be rare only because of where they are made but I thought some would have made it out of the Hermit Kingdom.
