I have had great success after skipping the whole stripper clip process. I top load them and they feed great now. Just need a couple more!I cant get mine to work reliably so I run Ruger 10s and others....
I'll try that.I have had great success after skipping the whole stripper clip process. I top load them and they feed great now. Just need a couple more!
I’ve had issues with them too, apparently there’s a specific way of loading them. I haven’t tried it yet.I'll try that.
X2 on that. It makes all the difference!I have had great success after skipping the whole stripper clip process. I top load them and they feed great now. Just need a couple more!
Off the shelf tuff 22 mags don't fit in off the shelf 10/22s. You don't need to epoxy anything...Too finicky for me.
Magazines should just work.
I epoxy 3/8" nuts onto BC Steel lips that make it impossible to insert the mag into a 10/22 but inserts into my TUF22 receiver.
If modding mags is legal as instructed to us by RCMP Lab E ie. pin BC 25 rounders then modding to make the mag impossible to use in a 10/22 is legal.
They can't have it both ways ie. heads I win, tails you lose.
No I meant epoxying BC Steel Lips mags, not off the shelf Tuf 22 mags.Off the shelf tuff 22 mags don't fit in off the shelf 10/22s. You don't need to epoxy anything...
Can you provide some more information on the RCMP instructions and/or sources? As a youngin' I've not heard of this before, only the widespread instruction to "never modify mags because that's illegal". Does this only apply to mags that were owned at the time of the 10/22 charger debacle? Or could this be done to bring 25 rounders into the country once again if they are permanently modified stateside to only work in a TUF-22?Too finicky for me.
