SKS aluminim chassis?

I was mistaken. The Manufacturer and others state that it weighs 1/2 (0.5) lbs less than stock.…Actually it is about 1lb more than a SKS. How do I know?Feelwise it is about the same as a H&K SL8 but I can't verify it since I sold my SL8…
Well, that's your personal opinion. There are SKSs out there who look like an AK47. I had one at one point, it was very heavy I must say, that's why I sold it for 1K about 10 years ago. Pretty sure I could fetch a lot more today. It really looked like an AK47, there was some serious workmanship involved.

A guy in ft.mac just sold 2 this year for 500 each.
A black one and a FDE one.
I grabbed the FDE one.
This guy is on ####in drugs 1300 dollars.
Can't even put the ####in mag adapter on the chassis so you're stuck with 5 round mags.
Get the hush holsters stock or for the price this guy is asking import a sage all metal chassis out of the state's with IRG.

I sorta like this they have a nylon version coming too has pic frnt/bk might look good with right stock

I would rather get a Fab defense stock. They look kind of similar.
Pearce Armoury out of Saskatchewan used to make their ILS SKS chassis that takes AR triggers, and uses AR 7.62x39 magazines, basically you'd just need a barreled action, bolt and carrier, and gas tube and piston to have a functional piecemeal build SKS. All we need to do is badger Pearce Armoury to put the chassis back into production

Does the mag adapter (for AR mags) work with the Hush Holsters folder?
Check the website looks like getting a cheek weld might be tough depending on your optic height.
Probably get the pic rail and then put a milspec buffer tube on it and then any stock yah want.
Or even get a pic rail stock.
I wanted one and may still pick one up to build out a second SKS. Definitely going with the pic rail for the stock.
Yeah, I think I'll just get the pic stock and put a folding pic stock on it. The new Magpul UCS coming out soon looks nice.
Those ####s already wanna ban the SKS (and every other gun) if you really think this thread will somehow contribute to them wanting to ban it more, I don't know what to tell ya...
Are you saying that the pic stock version has a folding mechanism as well? ie I don't need a folding pic stock, just a rigid pic stock? I couldn't tell from their website.
