My 22 shoots 1/2" groups at 50 yards/meters all day! Really? Prove it!

Another entry. I don't have a caliper with me so Ballistic-x was used. Let me know if this is a problem and I can take down this submission.

Rifle: Anschutz 54.18 MSR with Lilja barrel and McMilan BR stock, built by Bill Calfee. The Savage sticker is there to scare new shooters :ROFLMAO:
Scope: Bushnell XRS 2
Rest: Rempel bipod with a clamp at the front, Protektor solid base rear bag with an ammo box at the rear - very shaky! I need to find a rear support with correct height.

Ammo: Lapua Center-X
Distance: 50 yards

Group 1: 0.322"
Group 2: 0.313"
Group 3: 0.277"
Group 4: 0.380"
Group 5: 0.380"

Average of all groups: 0.3344"

I also shot a target with Eley Tenex with 0.232" average, but I forgot to take a picture before the target was shot.

Think I've covered all the requirements. As for the cut across the bottom of the sheet, there's 50 sheets cut like that so they can fit in my range target bag.

Another submission with my new toy :) The rifle definitely has a potential of better groups when it's colder and no wind.

My digital caliper ran out of batteries, and i crumpled the page up, went back to grab it out of trash to get a shot of the "largest" group for the entry. Let me know if I need to reshoot with a working caliper so I can get the 0.000 measurements.
Went through a lot of ammo types today. Found what works. lol

Anschutz 1903r benchrest 22 lr 21.4″ bbl synthetic
Cabela's Covenant 5-35 optic.
Rest Caldwell pre filled bags.

Think you need batteries for your calipers. Its great shooting but your top left target is definitely not 0.6" Theres two clear bullet holes with a lot of real estate between them. In order to be in the .6 range thats three full bullets touching and thats still .6 plus the .16,17,18 x3 whatever your barrel slugs them. Just sayin

He's measuring the top left target and even the non digital scale is closer to 0.6 than it is to 0.7
Time for the optometrist pal. The bottom right target is the one hes measuring not the top left. Not that it matters but in order to be .6 its three bullets touching. Its not that complicated. 3X 0.216" =0.648" and thats if theyre touching. I dont care if you wanna live in fantasy land. Go to a registered match and youll see the real measurements.

Sorry I was looking on my phone. We can't all be perfect

It doesnt really matter in the end but I think many on here need to be shown the proper way of measuring targets. For those that have shot competitively its sometimes almost comical to see some of the entries. Rimfire bullets are 0.215-0.219". At least all of the hundreds that ive owned. So when I see two clear holes and enough space to easily fit two more bullets between, its not 0.6" sorry. Three bullets overlapping can give a reading of 0.6". It is good he could get the 0.57 though without the batteries?? PS IM FAR FROM PERFECT
