270AB, Trace Scope Repair is an option iff’in yer nads aren’t all bent on claiming warranty.

I had a B&L that I sent into Bushnell for warranty.
They replaced it with something newer that I was displeased with.

No notification this was what they intended to do.
I asked for my old scope back and they said it was disposed of,
Qwack fackers.

This was one scope I would of foregone warranty and had Trace repair it.

Sometimes life isn’t about free chit, regardless.

Now I have the desire to find a Nikon………..🧐
My nads were never chafed bud. I was merely providing some info to the poster referencing Nikons ironclad scope warranty and the fact that there really isn't one.

Well familiar with Trace but have no idea if he repairs Nikon. I've had old Redfields tuned up by him tho. IF the 3 -4 rimfire 4-12s on some of my .17hmrs ever calf I'm likely not thinking about repairs to be honest and especially the warranty versions.

For the Money, I believe the Minox has the best price in North America (CAN$355.00) at:
https://gobigtactical.ca/Minox-X-Active-10x44-binoculars/

In other website in the US is US$490.00
https://www.eurooptic.com/minox-x-active-10-x-44-binoculars-with-comfort-bridge-housing-10019

Even the Minox X-HD (German made) in Go Big Tactical has very good price for CAN975 because the new price in some other stores is about US$1150.00.
I have both of them and quality for the price is the best.
Had a look through your links . I’m not sure if I’m a big fan of space between the barrels

Another vote for Steiner predators. Had a pair for years and never any problems. Great glass for the money. I upgraded and gifted the Steiners to a younger new hunter who’s still enjoying them!

I was just going to ask about the Steiner Predator binos and there’s the posts above !
What about those winged eye cups I think they might be a bit of a bugger ?
Also do the eye cups twist out ?

What’s their warranty ?
Thanks

Steiner has what they call a Heritage life of the product warranty. The eyecups don’t twist in or out but they can be folded down. I really like the green predator coating on the lenses, really brings out the browns and red colours making game stand out. In comparison with binos without the coating the image looks greenish.

Do those eye cups bother you fellas ?
The whole binoculars bothered me to be honest. Bought a pair and them and ran them through the gamut over the next 2 days Tried them in medium light and low light and couldn't see a difference between them and my at the time low end Zeiss Terra which are built in a Chinese plant and very so so. Took them back and bought Zeiss Conquest and have been happy in all light conditions including dark since. With all glass hunting accessories including scopes it's buy once cry once. So so's will let you down at some time and a quality scope should be close to or more than the rifle its on imo. YMMV
