Remington 870 stripped police receivers

I’ve been away from selling much on CGN since the format changed - although I’ve been on CGN since 2004. I do much more selling on the G Post now. I split up older Wingmasters and cheaper Express guns into their components to make a Buck or two. Plain complete 2 3/4 old school Wingmaster receivers (no stocks or barrel) I usually sell for $275 - $350, 3 inch receivers usually $300-$375 depending on condition. For guys wanting to customize a build it’s affordable. The newer drilled and tapped receivers are nice but don’t have the machine work and bluing quality of the old school stuff. I guess price the receivers high and if they don’t sell drop the price? Aim $250 and check the market? Nice to have them available for the option of building shotguns though. Sort of like buying a virgin 350 Chev 4 bolt block. Endless possibilities.

David,

I've seen Remington 870 Express Receivers with the bolt, trigger group, safety, etc. for $300.00 on the EE, and Gun-Post.;)

I think your price suggestions are a little high at best.

One does have to shop around and be quick to purchase these good deals when they become available.(y)

A price of $150.00 for BadBoys (S&J), stripped Police receiver seems to be a price folks would be willing to pay.:)

It will be interesting if they actually go for $150.00. And not $279.00 like another fellow joked about. :D
Building in parts is always more expensive than being whole.
I've seen stock magazine caps for $30.

In the end, the ducks dont know or care if its a $400 Express, $1100 Police or $750 Wingmaster.
They fall out if the sky either way.

I'm glad someone gets it.
I do love gow eveyine is giving there opinion abot us charging to much before we have even offered a price.

No trouble at all . I just don't see why people arw working themselves up that's all.
But again could be my interpretation.
Bbb
Only your interpretation I'm afraid.......:(:)

Good luck getting $250.00 for a $150.00 part, but hey, it's your store, you can ask whatever you want.

Hell, there is some idiots that will pay $399.99. But that's another story.

You may want to also try to understand why Canadians are so fed up with our corrupt, tyrannical, and communistic Liberals. It appears you don't get this.

And yes it makes some of us frustrated, and even angry.

You too as a dealer should feel the same way. :ROFLMAO:

You asked, people answered, nobody is mad or worked up. EDIT: thunderhog does in fact seem to be mad and worked up, my apologies.
Nope, not mad at all......:)

Unfortunately very few understand what's in store for all of us as gun owners.

Corrupt governments, corrupt police, and dealers who think their products are worth their weight in gold.

Fill your boots, buy an overpriced POLICE receiver, I really do not care.......:)

However, Badboys (S&J), asked what we think this part is worth and what we would pay!:ROFLMAO:

Obviously there will be many opinions. One thing for sure is one will never fix stupid!😂:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

No anger, just stupid people with too much money! LOL

This isn't correct at all.

We don't want to be raped by dealers who think the Covid-19 scam makes everything made of gold and now cost's double or triple what it should!:(
I stand to be corrected as I don't take note of all prices, but the cheapest new 870 Police I've seen in the past year was quite recently, and it was ~$900 for a synthetic unit. If that's what they are going for, then $250 for a receiver is fair. As BBB mentioned, he would buy all he could at $150, implying that his cost is greater than that. We would all love for things to go back to 2015 prices, or better yet 1990, but that's not in anyone's power on this forum. BBB can't sell at a loss, that's not reasonable. He didn't ask what we'd be willing to pay in a perfect world, he asked what we would in this messed up reality we find ourselves in.
