Lockhart renegade semi auto conversion

Correct. Radial delayed, so no gas system (or receiver cuts to accommodate one) required. Hopefully someone does this, just to prove all the naysayers wrong.
I'm not going to say I haven't seen this done, but I'm not going to say I haven't. If you have access to a machine shop and the time and expertise, you could potentially convert many firearms into semi or FA. Or build guns from scratch. None of this is magic.

With a bit of time on your hands you could convert your car into a machine gun. 🤷‍♂️

Then of course today the 3D printer makes everything easier and more accessible to the common man. You can't disrupt the signal.

Which is exactly what Victory was saying. You have to machine the receiver into something new.

Couldn’t the bolt just be swapped, instead of the carrier?
I'm not certain the carrier is the same as a standard AR carrier on the CMMG delayed blowback system. If it is then swapping the bolt should work.

It should be very possible to turn down a standard blowback carrier/bolt assembly to work in the smaller receiver, as well.

You have to machine the receiver into something new.
Can you explain the legal standard that divides 'modification' and 'manufacturing'?

No he can’t.

You’d still have cucks asking for an FRT.
The RCMP will create a FRT entry for the rifle - if they have not already done so. The goal of the Firearms Reference Table is to catalogue every firearm.
The FRT entry will include the classification of the converted rifle.

Even a modification will get a new FRT entry. Different barrel lengths and calibers have different FRT entries. The same rifle can have an FRT that’s non-restricted and a modified prohibited/restricted model based on barrel length or calibre.

I don't know how you can label it an AR variant. Then any piece of metal is an AR variant with enough machining. I don't thing the laws were written concerned about semi-auto conversions but I am no expert here.
My trucks lower control arms are an AR variant because they are made of the same aluminum alloy and I painted them black. xD
