Your definition of "secure" is obviously not the same as my definition of "secure". Any lock that can be manipulated open in a matter of minutes, leaving no trace, such as simplex locks or even grade 2 mechanical combination locks, are definitely by no means "secure". ##### to open? Maybe if you're a 6yr old with one arm.
No one expects you to build Fort Knox. But these boxes are by no means "safes", no matter what you or the salesman might say. Good enough to meet storage laws? Definitely. Without trigger locks? That's anyone's guess.

Yup, as long as it takes some force to open and as it's bolted in a way that prevents a thief from just picking it up and walking away with it, it's legit.
I just bought a new safe for my ever-expanding collection. It's got much thicker steel than the Stack-On I started out with, but the locking mechanism is still the weak point. Someone determined enough will probably get in. Still, I'm way above and beyond the letter of the law...

A tupperware case with a padlock and triger lock is all thats required if you go by the book.
Unfortunately the CFO and the police don,t go by the book...they tend to make it up as they go along.
Office supply stores sell small safes with a key lock and/or combination lock.
bolt it down, or as i did,several flat sheets of lead and two of them bolted together...some one wants to steal my safes is welcome to the hernia.
Last I checked, jails were for keeping people IN... Not OUT. Bell Canada uses Simplex locks on all their COs... Now you say some jails use simplex... Good for them. But that by no means makes them "secure", as you claimed.

In the context of "feelings"... free from or not exposed to danger or harm. ie: synonym of SAFE.
My god you people need to pick up a book once in a while. Secure can also mean PROCURE/OBTAIN... Who's gonna make some stupid comment about that?

I would vote to not have you banned. We are all adults and this is just play time...at least for me. Nothing personal.
Signal "penetration" or signal stealing happens every day in the world of electronics and internet.
In the same vein, you need to "lock" your communications, just like a safe.
Encryption: 64 bit = simplex
128 or 256 bit = Better..

Not only would you risk getting banned, you would be wrong. My cat has a built-in grade 3 security system against forcible penetration called CLAWS OF INALIENABLE FURY.
