Do you happen to know for the updated and improved buffer setup on your friends rifle, did they keep the same white buffer or change that out to something different? I'm curious how they resolved it exactly and if they just kept everything the same but just added their own washer/metal piece to protect the rubber piece from breaking apart?I have the all metal TM-22, as well as the Feather I got from IRG. Both are great guns. The Feather was way cheaper, is super light, and it's basically the polymer version of the all metal one, but I think it'd be too late to consider the Feather as you'd have to import since last time I checked they're sold out at the Canadian store. Very similar design but different recoil buffer/buffer tube setup.
SFRC has a sale on right now 14% site wide with free shipping over $200 with coupon code and they always have the best price on the all metal Derya. They only have flat dark earth, red, and blue right now though. The adjustable stock is perfect for smaller shooters, and the current rifles shipping out from SFRC have the updated/improved buffer setup. A friend ordered his several months ago from them and his was updated. Magazines are not expensive for these guns, especially if you know where and when to shop. They're probably on sale elsewhere as well. Last time I looked IRG had the black ones with the fixed stock in stock.
Warrantied by Odell which is another plus.
Definitely an impressive first gun for the money.

Sur la photo qu'elle m'a montrée, cela ressemble au même tampon blanc qu'O'Dell envoie.
Hello, would you be available to help me because I think I have the same version, I'm only getting to it now because my 223 and my 9 mm were, in my opinion, more important in terms of investment. Therefore, would it be possible to have the procedure to follow because I admit that being in France I have no email or idea of where to turn.I consider it money well spent. It loves a quicker ammo like Blaser. I unfortunately bought the first generation with the buffer problem. One quick email to warranty people got me the replacement parts within a week. No hassle ,no fuss. Shoots like a dream . I use a 3x9 scope,on mine
Hello, I think I also have the same problem. Would it be possible to tell me what procedure and how you contacted the manufacturer to obtain the spare parts?Thank you in advance![]()
Where are you located ?Hello all
New user and purchased the full metal RIA TM22 without the full rail.
My model is the 18a - and I was having issues with FTF FTE and light strike with some 1200+fps ammo. Ex Federals. Not wanting to constantly deal the issue I reached out to SFRC for a warranty claim.
Not much was shared but I suspected they are waiting for the white buffer parts. They have no info when it will arrive.
I wanted to know if anyone is having similar issues with warranties. RIA model does not use Odell for warranties.
At this point I am willing to have my item serviced and paid for by me and returned to me instead of waiting aimlessly forever.
That’s a whole lotta rounds per day. There better not be a ground squirrel to be found within a few square kilometres at the end of one of those days ! Am I right ?I use mine for ground squirrels and put 500-1000 rounds through it per day. With quality ammo, the rifle runs flawlessly. You won't be disappointed.
I don’t know if the camera showed the true colour, but from the pic MAKITA comes to mind. Make up a 6” cord with a male plug and slip the other end into the pistol grip lol just until someone asks about about your power tool.I have enjoyed mine very much, cheap to run, accurate and very dependable so far.
I have used it for Speed Steel, and in a few 2Gun/3Gun/IDPA events where .22 caliber was allowed. It has been run hard all day long at a Youth Day and a Ladies Day events at a local range. At the Ladies Day there were over 100 shooters and that Derya was by far the most popular rifle, it ran non stop all day. I would estimate conservatively 4-5000 rounds thru it at this point, probably more but I don’t keep a running total. I’ve had a few good buddies that have also purchased a TM-22 and everyone has been impressed. I would recommend these rifles for sure
