Beretta 1301 Mod 2 - What's Up With Canadian Versions?

Well, my new purdy B blends in to the shadows a wee bit better. Got the scary black one. Added a few bits. Just waiting for the lil Quivr for the stock, then ready to sight in! Can't wait...... Mayb next week. Can't go to range naked, with no Quivr.........
Thanks to Tactical Ordanace for an O-Sight that worked with current budget! See how long it lasts; but the price was right!

OOOh, & the pooor Benelli can't have the folder. It has a spring in the stock like a Remington 1100. Chisel won't be making one for it. Ahhhww; too bad for them. ;)

Did see that vid. Peeps of smaller stature may prefer the B4 due to the extra weight and therefore less recoil. Those of us that like the recoil or don't mind it, like myself will go for the "cheap" Beretta to save some $$$ for ammo! ;)
Will confirm my decision, when I actually get out to shoot it. Benneli was not an option anyways, so poooor cheap Beretta will have to do 4 me. My review to follow, once I can get it out, sight it in & do a few mag dumps for fun! May have trouble, keeping it fed. Ammo getting crazy for pricing........

& this is my 3rd Beretta. I Have faith.
303 3" ol goose gun, and 400 Extreme plus 3.5" upgrade already in the fam.

They've been making good stuff, for over 500 years.

Expect this one to be a fav too.......... for target and club fun.

Thinking the 3.5" kicks a bit harder than this baby will.
Baby Purdy B Tactical, should be a treat to shoot with 2 3/4". ;)

No, I agree, that looks gooood. Hate to be standing beside it at the range though with that blaster on the front of it! Probably knock folks on their wee butts, just standing near it..... ??? ;)
🤣😂I will have to ask the person in the next stall next time I go, certainly reduces recoil & helps with muzzle rise for this one armed guy. Casey at Tacord helped me with that brake.

OK, you have an excuse for it. Young guy blasting a Creedmore with similar brake, beside me a few days ago, had none. Creedmore doesn't need one, unless shooting ground squirrels @ 500-700...... & going for max accuracy..... other than to blast me through my muffs!
He was shooting at 50 & 100.

Oh, & for the record, 1 armed Veteran beside me, now passed, shot ducks off the dock all fall, with a pump, & no brake....... ;) Fact. He'd take a shot, drop gun into right hand to pump, & pull up to shoot again, quicker than I could cycle my pump @ 16 yo. :)

They don't make too many like that anymore..... Miss him..... RIP Bert C.

He doesn’t need an excuse. He can have whatever muzzle brake he wants on whatever rifle he wants, unless range rules specifically prohibit it. 6.5 creedmoor is fantastic with a brake.

Yep, all my fault for setting up in next stall. I could have moved 3 over. Will do that the next time I see one of those..... ;) Had a brake on my Creed too, before I sold it. Son's 300 WM is another story all together, with the brake on it. I stay well away from that one! You can feel it, not just hear it.

His brake just happened to have slots, pointing on an angle rewards to the sides. Was extra loud, even through the muffs!

That's 100% right, but if you've got serious hearing damage the affinity for brakes disappears completely.
Had a Safari Mark 11 in 270 and 300 WM with Boss factory brakes. Sold them and kept the 270, plain, un-braked.
Like it well.
Still shoots well enough for my deer! ;)
No mo brakes for this kinda deaf guy......
