Tactical Imports SRC-45

Long barrel. I have the short .410 already

I don’t know how to check for this. Looking down the cylinder end I can’t see any rifling, from the muzzle it looks normal 🤷

It is very light weight.
Thanks, if you can’t see the rifling from the back looking in it most likely has similar throat as the .410’s. Run a tight patch through the barrel and you will notice when the rifling ends it will go easy, you could also try putting a bullet in the back of the barrel and see how deep it goes in.
Think they do this to control the blast coming out between cylinder and barrel, you get a fairly good gas escape around the bullet before it hits the rifling, wondering if this will affect the accuracy

Put some 45ACP down the pipe. It’s a little fiddly using the moon clips. It’s almost like there the cylinder doesn’t swing out far enough for the empties and the moon clip to eject smoothly.

I found the trick is to keep pressure on the ejector and rotate the cylinder, allowing the moon clip to find its own way to clear the receiver.

There won’t be any speed reloads just yet with this thing.

What is astonishing is how light this rifle is. Like .30 carbine light. I wish it had sling swivels but they’d install easy enough

Okay. Mine is officially broken.

Cylinder won’t close

Update to the fastest fix in the world. My ejector rod had come loose. It’s a left hand thread for those wondering. Tighten it down and keep shooting.

I’m not technically proficient enough to post vids or pics.

I’ve been unable to get any good groups with 45ACP. It is fun to ring the steel with it tho. I’d say my groups are pie plate with irons, offhand, at 25 yards. Not so good but I’ve been mostly just having fun.
Jeff you buy everything man!

Every time I see a new gun thread you've already bought it LOL!!

You must have like 10 safes or some giant vault where you store them all 🤣

Send em to me again and ill post on your behalf Jeff

And a threaded barrel. I want something like this.

Sadly Alfa Proj carbines are legally handguns in Canada, they basically just put a long barrel and different grips on their normal revolver frames. Same reason the Rossi circuit judge carbines are handguns here.

The revolving rifles that are legally rifles - for example the Rough Rider Carbines - use a different frame from their handgun brethren, or like the SRC-45 simply don't have handgun brethren at all.

I wonder if 45colt could be more accurate than 45acp? Considering the length of the cylinder that's gotta be a big jump to the rifling with ACP which can't be good for accuracy?

Even with 45 colt it will be a big jump up to the barrel from the cyllinder
45 colt bullets are a bit bigger in diameter the 45 acp so that would prob help
Cast 45 colt bullets should work better yet
