Do you even know what a linear compensator does?sure, believe whatever you want to believe.
whatever the comp, linear or non-linear, is as good as you hallucinate it is.

I just simply don’t understand why people put a comp there and then hide it in the hand guard.
Comp on rimfire has 0 functions, it’s pure aesthetic
So you dont fill the handguard with soot.I just simply don’t understand why people put a comp there and then hide it in the hand guard.

This, I agree. Because the barrel is stupidly short. Shorter than hand guard. He had to fill it with a muzzle break. How stupid is that.So you dont fill the handguard with soot.
Did it with mine.
Sure, you do you too. What kind of mind would build a rifle with barrel shorter than handguard and then later to make up the length with a muzzle break. It’s a pure stupidity. That I understandLuckily, understanding this build isn’t a requirement. You do you though.
Umm tons of SBR AR15's and PCC that Ive seen.Sure, you do you too. What kind of mind would build a rifle with barrel shorter than handguard and then later to make up the length with a muzzle break. It’s a pure stupidity. That I understand

Funny you come in with your opinion and people laugh at you and also provide facts on the usefulness of the compensator you say has 0 practical use, But you dont like it so its "stupid" Very shallow minded. Guessing you're boomer for sure. probably borderline Fudd.
I like how the 12.5” sits flush with the 13” MI handguard.
Where are you folks getting your MI handguards? I'm looking for the 8" handguard/chassis for my 9" 10/22 take-down.Thanks for posting these. I wanted a 13" MI for my 12.5 barrel, Assumed with the linear comp it would poke out the end. I don't think I like that for myself

Now that Christmas is over I should be able to free up some $$
Here's what I planning to do with my DLASK 9" TD.....

That's unfortunate the hardware isn't currently available. There doesn't seem to be any jn the Country at the moment. I'd like to do basically thr same build. but with that stock setup it'll be too short to reach OAL. Will need something a little longer
Got mine at Canadian Safety Source. It’s in stock.Where are you folks getting your MI handguards? I'm looking for the 8" handguard/chassis for my 9" 10/22 take-down.

Check Dlask’s post regarding the length. His set up is 100% legal. There doesn't seem to be any jn the Country at the moment. I'd like to do basically thr same build. but with that stock setup it'll be too short to reach OAL. Will need something a little longer
Any tool i need to get it off now that’s assembled?I put a bit of white lithium grease on the threads. It will make life easier when or if you decide to change it up.
No. I have stock receiver.p@3ck....are you using a DLASK Tuf22 TD receiver? I'm trying to confirm that one will fit in the MI chassis.
Maybe a strap wrench. I just don't want dry threads locking up with a bit of corrosion. I have a nipple I am trying to get out of a 180 year old muzzle loader. After that long, grease or anti seize likely does not work at all.Any tool i need to get it off now that’s assembled?![]()
