SRC-45?

If they use moonclips to shoot 45ACP does that mean that they would work with 45 Auto Rim?

I've been loading AR brass for my S&W 25 just because moonclips are annoying to deal with

Any word on new calibers?
No other calibers in development at the moment, I think the main focus is .45 right now due to it's versatility and acceptance with .410 still. they offered 9mm, but we said would only be good if they could increase cylinder capacity, don't think they want to do the R&D for that. Maybe in a few years we'll see .357 but I think that depends on how successful .45 is.

9mm would have been fine even with lower capacity.

I had to fight very very hard not to buy one! Just can't justify new toys when I need money for diapers and baby food! Lol, the boy eats too much and definitely poops too much, but at least he's super handsome!
It's another cope purchase for me, I have/had pistols and rifles in both calibers so it is a no brainer for me, but yeah i hear you, we have to prioritize sometimes. Hopefully some come in just in time for some income tax returns!

Sounds like they would certainly be a lot more successful if they were actually, y'know, in stock?

The 45Colt/45ACP/410 model is a winner, and you could probably move a lot of units of 38/357 or 9mm. The latter especially doesn't have a lot of options that aren't prohib semis so something NR to move 9mm downrange would be welcome. But I'm watching for the original model to return.

Most of our stuff moves quick, got to get them while you can!

We have some 9mm projects in development but who knows when or if they'll see the light of day, these things can take years unfortunately

Hope so. I'm wondering if they'll blow up if I run .454 Casull or .460S&W through one!

I'd say very likely! Probably wouldn't chamber though as they're a little longer.

A Ruger Blackhawk/Redhawk load is steamy enough and equal, or maybe a hair more power at lower pressure than .44 Mag.

If memory serves the Casull is running about twice THAT pressure, and the Freedom Arms pistols at the time all were 5 shots to leave enough steel around the cases.

I have my doubts about these handling Ruger loads, but I can't compare the cylinder wall thickness and I'm not sure they would be made as tough. Thought I read that the frame was some kind of aluminum alloy, but don't know for certain.
