Prevailing internet wisdom is that 7.5 twist is plenty fast and 7 twist is "too fast".
But, I don't think anyone has tried both and can give a good comparison.

It's funny that the specification on Hornady's product page for twist on this bullet is blank.

Hi everyone, I am new the forum. Glad someone started this thread as I am looking to build a 25 creedmoor off a Rem 22-2250 action that I have. Looking for any recommendations on a barrel to use and where to get it in Canada. Any advise is welcome.

Falkor MT7 action, 26 inch 1-7.25” twist, #4 contour, 5R cut rifled Benchmark Barrel,
Manners Pro Hunter Stock
Triggertech Special Trigger
Hawkins M5 Bottom Metal
Talley’s holding a Zeiss V4 6-24x50 Scope
I initially tried both factory Hornady 128 ELDX & 134 ELDM offerings, both shot poorly with groups measuring best of 1” and most closer to 2”
After a few good cleanings I tried some Handloads with N555/210M/Peterson brass using 101gr LRX, 110 ELDX , 133gr BEH and 134gr ELDM
The 101 LRX shot best at 3050 fps with several 1/4” groups, the 133gr Bergers groups were horrible at 2”,
Next time at the range,
The 101gr LRX are running at 3100 fps a 50 fps gain over the previous range trip with the same load.
The 110 eldx and 134gr eldm handloads came around printing several 5/8” 5 shot groups averaging 3031fps
The 134gr ELDM averaged 2904 fps for 15 shots

Any gunsmith that says this is a fool and should not be trusted with a quality rifle.
This^^^X2 That would be someone I’d never use. Look at all the shooters on here that have used barrels from Canadian manufacturers and the results they get. Buddy of mine has had great luck with JC barrels also
I'd be looking for another 'Smith.
IBI, JC, KS, RKS , Gailard,HW, and Jury are just a few names that build top shelf , World class barrels
