I bought a 12” from Mag Dump a couple years back plus a Dlask 12, but seems those days are gone now, all back ordered!Dlask built a number of short barrels for the Derya products . They’re out there but as scarce as hens teeth
Thanks!
Sniffer,Thanks!
A picture from North Sylvia would have been stellar?
Does anyone know if the version already out there (18" or whatever) takes AR handguards / stocks etc or are they proprietary?
They’re proprietary handguards with a barrel nut. If you’re looking for a shorter one I’ve seen true north arms selling them on their website by Tommy enterprises. Or if you have a buddy with a 3D printer there’s one on thingyverse for free - but you’d probably want to print with PA6-CF (nylon with carbon fiber) for the strength and temperature resistance. Thanks!

So I looked at a couple handguard options and didnt like was out there so I made my own.
40mm ID carbon fiber tube, a handguard stabalizer that I 3d printed that threads onto the threads halfway down the barrel, a contoured 3d printed block to take up the space between the rail and the carbon fiber, drilled and tapped the barrel nut so its locked on.
So much lighter on the front end, way better transitions... feel a little like my competition set up on my FX9.
Hand guard seems short
