Hi there,

I've been seeing som rumors that we may get the 12" barrel version of the TM22 here in Canada.

Does anyone have any solid information about this? or is it just rumour at this point?

Thanks in Advance!

Dlask built a number of short barrels for the Derya products . They’re out there but as scarce as hens teeth
I bought a 12” from Mag Dump a couple years back plus a Dlask 12, but seems those days are gone now, all back ordered!

it seems NS was forced to put out something bcos of the info coming from derya but both doesnt say which model it comes in, feather or alloy?

Apparently, as mentioned by someone on Reddit:
"The FRT filed by North Sylva explicitly mentioned that the 12" comes in two versions, aluminum and polymer receiver."

Thanks!

A picture from North Sylvia would have been stellar?

Does anyone know if the version already out there (18" or whatever) takes AR handguards / stocks etc or are they proprietary?
Sniffer,
I just got the pro model and if some machinist wizard out there had the gumption to create a barrel nut that fit the threads on the TM22 reciever it sure would accept an AR handguard, and they would make a good chunk of change from a lot of us I bet. I put a diffrent buffer tube on mine and a strike industries fixed stock, the buffer tube it came with has a weird bevel on the bottom lug of the buffer tube that makes it a nightmare to get anything on it I found.

They’re proprietary handguards with a barrel nut. If you’re looking for a shorter one I’ve seen true north arms selling them on their website by Tommy enterprises. Or if you have a buddy with a 3D printer there’s one on thingyverse for free - but you’d probably want to print with PA6-CF (nylon with carbon fiber) for the strength and temperature resistance.

Damn, appreciate the info.
