Any feedback on the Dlask Turkish Walnut 10/22 stocks?

I'm not having any luck finding anything with Google, but if they're any good at all, it seems like a steal for the same price as a Hogue.

Dlask is located a couple blocks away from my work/shop.. I have never been to see the place but recent posts indicate a serious departure from quality control and customer service. I recommend heeding the previous warning. I suspect the owner no longer cares due to the crushing financial losses associated with the specific product demographic. I truly feel for the owner/s of any business that specialized like they did. I would be happy to check for you in the hopes that the comments are wrong... but there have been many...
PM me if you require my assistance... Cheers

I'm interested in the Turkish walnut stock as well. I would apppreciate more feedback from anyone else that has bought one.

Thanks for the heads up!

Dlask is closing out stock and shutting down and there has been some complaints of late.... that said I just ordered one to check out and will let you know what I think when it arrives..... :)

It reminds me of the old finger groove stocks Ruger used to make...

It is similar for sure, I have an old finger groove stock, I love it, but it's gotten a little beat up.

It's a good looking stock as per ad.

I don't own any 10/22 but maybe I gonna order a stock and wait for a 10/22 sale.

Some of their plastic stock guns come on sale once in a while...

I was in at Dlask a few months ago and handled this stock. It’s really nice and for that price, don’t think you can go wrong. I considered it for a 10/22 build I did, but it’s to fit the .920” bull barrel and mine is narrower, so not the fit I wanted. I don’t believe it has any finish on it, maybe oiled is about it. Pretty decent for the sale price.

So, no problem floating the barrel on a "standard issue". ?

Well, if your barrel is narrower than .920”, yes it would float. There will be a gap between the barrel and the stock, which will either bug you or it won’t. It wasn’t for me is all, nothing to do with the quality of the stock.

How about if I wrap "teflon/carbon" around the barrel ?

I have no experience with wrapping a barrel like that. I get what you’re proposing to fill in any gap, just not how best to do it. Floating the barrel isn’t a bad thing, it’s just if you like the look of the gap or not.
