Well now there’s this one. If you look close at the upper and lower fitment, square not radius therefore not AR variant like their straight pulls. Glock mags. Pump action.

Now who imports these? North Sylva already said in the other thread they don’t deal with Schmeisser (anymore?)

If the lower is an actual AR-15 type, and is compatible with AR-15 rifles, the Liberals will kybosh this pump action 9mm before it even comes to Canada. I believe James stated this at the 2:52 mark, that it's AR-15 compatible.

It's a crying shame, because I like it!

There is a fairly big difference in how the upper and lower of the Schmeisser fit together (top) vs standard AR15 (bottom) leading me to think this is not a variant

When they say AR compatible I think it’s just furniture, trigger, maybe small parts
 
This looks awesome...BUT...

I think that perhaps too much weight is placed on the logical meaning of variant. I mean, during CCFR vs government case, the whole variant definition seems both subjective and ambiguous.

Enough stuff has been banned, claiming to be a variant of this or that. I love it that manufacturers continue to put out new products and push the envelope but with the goal posts seemingly keep changing, can anyone really say that anything that is black, takes detachable mags and is centerfire, safe from the government's grubby hands?

Companies in good faith are trying to comply with the C21 characteristics, etc. But between the Polys, the Cukier/gun control crowd, we all know they are banning based on looks, so I really think the whole characteristics thing is a red herring. I am still shocked that things like the GSG-16, and the Crypto were banned. I wouldn't put anything past this government and would not ever presume they are either dealing with gunowners in good faith, nor utilizing logic and common sense in their classifications. Anandasangaree said so himself when he was being secretly recorded. It is all political theatre in an effort to placate gun control groups.

All that said, if this is available in Canada, I'll take the plunge and get one...want to support these companies who are coming up with unique solutions to regions like our own with restrictive gun laws. Maybe I will buy 2 of these, just cuz... Carney can kiss my middle aged derriere...
