Why do Blaser rifles cost so much? I've examined them, and they are well-made CNC-machined modern rifles often with nice walnut and they deserve to sell for a premium. But ten times (10X) what other very good quality CNC-machined rifles cost?
True... the are 100X nicer than a Savage....they are nicely made, they certainly aren't 10x nicer than a savage...
Not expensive at-all, I've owned three of them. If you look at-it-this-way, they are very inexpensive, than English fine rifles. The last Blaser I owned, I traded it for a Cooper Custom Classic. I killed a 7x6 bull elk with the Blaser. Time to move-on to purchase or trade for something else. Why do Blaser rifles cost so much? I think accuracy has very little to do with fine rifles. Many utilitarian or standard rifles will probably shoot as accurate or more accurate than a Rigby, Holland & Holland, William Evens, etc. My Blasers did not shoot any more accurate than standard rifle that I owned.Maybe 1000x, having said that they may or may not be more accurate but there is no question about the Quality.

Custom built rifles?.............. Right-off the lathe they are bloody accurate!
Ok, I'm going to say it, as I have been thinking it for years...Maybe 1000x, having said that they may or may not be more accurate but there is no question about the Quality.
If I was on a guided hunt and the guide was packin a savage anything, Id be packin.Blaser guys are OK leaving the boat anchor in camp and using the Guides cheap Savage. LOL Watching a Blaser bouncing and sliding down a scree slope makes even rich guys cry.
I wouldnāt know, never owned one.Ok, I'm going to say it, as I have been thinking it for years...
The Savage accuracy claims, have been dramatically inflated by people who are justifying cheaping out on their rifle.
Flame away
Never mind the rest of the gun being absolute garbage. The initial cost of a firearm is the cheapest thing,Ok, I'm going to say it, as I have been thinking it for years...

I would never have a Savage slung-over my shoulder; junk and they have no curb appeal!Blaser guys are OK leaving the boat anchor in camp and using the Guides cheap Savage. LOL Watching a Blaser bouncing and sliding down a scree slope makes even rich guys cry.
