Pedersoli Pump Action Jackal .44 mag

I did not know this even existed, thanks!......:)

However, I expect the price tag to be $2000.00-$3000.00 CDN dollars....:(

It might be cheaper to duct tape two single shot Henry single shots together....

Or one Henry and one H&R single shot....:):ROFLMAO:

Seriously, I love these Pedersoli firearms, but they are way off my beer salary, and I can't even afford beer! LOL;)
I may end up with the Lil double if enough reviews are positive with regulation. Be fun Lil sister to my sxs in 4570
I have a cva td in 44mag and just love the 44mag in a carbine

Does it slamfire?
:)

It's amazing that nobody has resurrected the Timberwolf..... I have a feeling someone will in the near future if we can sidestep WW3.
The only flaw with the Timberwolf was that its magazine cannot be topped up with the action closed and in battery.

That and its timing, coming out during the revolver to wondernine transition.

You're thinking 7 rounds of 300gr 44mag would be insufficient?
Unsure which province you’re from but when I’m hunting in grizzly country in thick bush for a moose or a black bear that gets potentially 7foot… yea I like a little extra insurance.

There’s a reason I’m shooting a 500 grain 50 cal bullet out of my lever gun when I hunt grizz country lol.

Don’t get me wrong a 223 can kill any of these animals as can the 44mag, if you’re shooting them in the vitals unbeknownst to them… a moose or bear charging you?
My confidence in a lot of calibers drop and I’ve been charged by a grizz once already that’s enough for me.. at that point I was carrying a .308 and let me tell you I felt like I was bringing a knife to a gun fight aha when I returned home from that hunt I immediately ordered a 500S&W magnum. But I’m not a risk taker these days lol

You won't get argument from me about the virtues of 500 s&w - I've got a spikedriver myself. However, being from rural southern Ontario, my interest in both calibers is mainly academic.

The posts in here about how this rifle is a buy if only it wasn't 44mag are making me want one of these even more... Willpower almost gone.

That .44mag double is supposed to weight 5.8 pounds. The Timberwolf was just a hair over 6 pounds. Pedersoli's own Lightning is as light as 6.4 pounds.

This new thing is listed as 7.7 pounds!

Nope. :(

Honestly I’m probably going to grab one as well, I’ll just use it around home for white tail where the biggest thing I’ll run into is a coyote or wolf.

I just think a big bore pump action rifle would be pretty neat but its applications are definitely limited… if I didn’t spend a month in grizzly territory every September I’d probably feel the exact same as you.

This would make a great thick bush gun.

Seems like a great weight to balance an iron sight rifle like this and make work of any recoil allowing quicker follow up shots.

I would not want this to be light.
IMO unless a gun is carbon and titanium, I want it to be heavy. That means quality. Walnut is heavy. Good steel is heavy. Quality components weigh more..

Just my opinion of course.

Damn auto correct
