I'm looking for an individual that can legally store a pistol frame for up to 1 year, I will re-evaluate at that point. Otherwise its going to be destroyed. I have an idea about what I'm willing to pay for storage. If this is something anyone is willing to entertain let me know.

I would reach out to any firearm business's in your area.
I know Epps offers firearm storage for $25 per gun per 6mo period, not sure if they will transfer said guns into their business inventory though.
If no luck maybe reach out to member KotKotofeich.

Call your CFO and have a talk. You should be able to get an ATT to lend the restricted firearm and have the person store it at their residence for up to 6 months and then you can renew the permit again as needed.

I know this because I am lending a pistol to a club member so they can take it back and forth to the club to practice. So they do have an ATT and everything is good if they were ever stopped or the firearm was stolen from their home.
And the person in question has an RPAL but does not own any firearms

Seems that the gun isn't registered to the OP. Rather, OP bought a gun at auction that he can't have transferred to himself, so he's looking for someone who CAN have the gun transferred to them to keep it safe for a year while they.... I dunno. I'm not really sure the end goal? It's highly unlikely anything will change for the better with regards to handguns in the next year...

My understanding for applying for an Olympic exemption, (which is not that hard to do) you need to know the information about the item you are buying before you ask for your exemption letter, because that's what they put on the letter - ex - Bigbubba is exempt to purchase a Walther SSP

You probably will not get a letter for a non-Olympic style pistol - but I could be wrong.

I would doubt you can find anyone willing to apply for an exemption letter for a frame - but maybe you can.

I would guess you are going to pay the auction house for storage.

it's a desert eagle... so no it's not a hamerili Olympic pistol but it could identify as one.

Why would you buy a pistol you can’t have transferred to you?

Just finding out about the transfer ban?

for parts... barrel conversions... I'm trying to save the frame from destruction at least temporarily... you can have everything but the frame. It just upsetting that they are going to destroy something that you can never get back. You can no longer buy Israeli made frames and the magnum research frames apparently don't work, if they would change the ban in the future.

Can the auction house or consignor keep it?
