Show your reloading benches

House build is all finished up - was able to convince my beautiful wife that I needed a reloading/tinkering space.

This is the reloading half - pretty simple man’s set up.

Still need to find something for the top of the bench, and figure out storage for beneath it.

The wall control panels work really well for organizing.

Do you take your powder dispenser off the shelf when you use it? I tried my auto tricker on one of the wall control shelves to isolate it, but there was too much wobble in the shelf and it didn’t set level enough for my liking (i know you can level the unit).

I am trying to figure out a reliable method to isolate my scale/dispenser from vibrations.

My auto trickler is on the same bench as my press. I load all the cases first then seat bullets last to minimize vibration

Yes, the Chargemaster sits on the bench when in use. You can just see the Rock Chucker handle on the left edge of the pic. The dispenser is for loading .308, 300WM, and .223 for my Savage LRPV.
 
Here's my corner. I have an RCBS powder dispenser coming. And that should keep me happy reloading for a while.

Got the dispenser. Wouldn't fit under the cupboard if it was attached to the press. Made a simple holder for it with a 3/4" bolt.

Can't compare it to other same style press. Its my first press. Its smooth and effortless. Doesn't need much force. Guess the weight of all the parts help. Completely different than the Lee press beside it

Thanks for that. They looked like they had good camming power, and I like the fact that they can be mounted flat without all of the under hang. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for one at the pawn shops!😊
 
Needs a damn good cleaning, moved the cabinets in last year at the wife's suggestion, didnt like me upstairs in the attic freezing during the winters. Good woman, that one!😊

Here is where all of the magic happens at my house. The 4x4s once lived on a truck carrying coils of steel. I notched them out during the Wuhan Flu lockdown. The whole contraption is bolted to the wall and the floor. My biggest concern is what I am going to do with it when I move one day. ;)

I just finished this bench that’s why it’s so empty :)

Finally I have a dedicated reloading / gun room .
It’s 7 x 11 ft. not really big enough for my liking but that is all that was possible with our house layout without relocating walls and sacrificing other common spaces.

The other side of the room has the cabinets for the “tools”, a shelving unit with ammo cans, projectiles etc. and another shelving unit with brass, primers, powder, casting equipment and more. I’m not going to post pictures of this, sorry.

The countertop is my old solid front door, topped with solid maple flooring. Found a whole unopened box of it at the landfill a few years ago and knew I was going to use it someday.

I don’t have space to mount all my presses so on the countertop I have bolted a 1/2 inch think steel plate with drilled and tapped hole patterns for various presses so it’s easy and quick to put another press on the bench.
I have currently mounted Rcbs RC and 4x4 presses and hole patterns also accommodate Hornady Pro-Jector, Hornady 366 and mec 9000
