I recently bought a Rossi Rio Bravo .22LR. This gun defines fun. I have about 300 trouble free rounds thru the gun. I put a cheap little red dot on it and the gun and the red dot seem to love each other.
Now I'm 81, old eyes aided by a stigmatism, are not a recipe for accuracy, never the less I have no problem hitting a gopher sized steel target at 50 yards with the gun (rested off a bench). Did I say I am no rifleman. Well off the bags the gun is capable. The trigger pull is not about to put an Olympic Free Pistol to shame but it has a decent plinker trigger pull leaning to the heavy side. Build quality is what you expect for a gun that cost me just under $500 -great service. thanks Tenda. Wood to metal fit is better than some I have seen. Not Uberti fit though. The lever is smooth as silk. Ejection puts all cases in a neat pile. When you lever the case out don't be gentle, going slow will cause the empty case to slip off the extractor and well, sometimes the case falls out and if you are really dumb you can jam the gun up quite good....don't ask!
Now if you are fed up with Trump and would prefer to ignore the US, take a look at this little Brazillion Rossi Rio Bravo. This gun is designed for the John Wayne in all of us.
For those who are concerned about accuracy a word to the wise. Bulk .22LR, any brand is not found in the hands of serious .22LR target killers. Shooting off a gun sled the cheap stuff may get you 3/4" groups at best from my Anshutz (sp) using a scope. If you are an average hunter type who likes to shoot Grouse off fence posts at 15 yards, grew up in Alberta, this little gun will do the job rested on a tree, tire or standing. If you think you are going to do consistent head shots it at 50 yards with iron sights well you are a way better shot than I see at our range and using something better than bulk ammo. Just saying.
I didn't buy this gun to shoot paper at 50 yards but breaking rocks at 50 yards on our Pit 1 is just fun and 6 inch rocks, while standing, don't have a chance. Rolling tin cans down range in Range 5 with Paul H or Ted R is just plain fun. Speed Shooting steel plates at 10 - 15 yards is cool if you still have some kid in ya and can remember playing war, as a kid, at the Edmonton Municipal Airfield in the 2nd bush. Barry, George, JC, and Brian ya still on the right side of the grass.

ps I should point out we used branches cut from poplar trees for rifles, pistols, machine guns and rocks for grenades.
