Simple, start a new thread to get more relevant information. A member with 11 posts brings up a necro thread almost 10 years old and will probably never come back to it.

Pics have been deleted, taken down. Some members banned, some dead, some no longer post here.

Simple minded perhaps. Reviving an old thread reminds people of what was discussed previously but more importantly, newer members, in this case thst means anyone here for less than 10 years, get to read what was earlier posted snd expand on it. The revival already started a resurgence in the topic, a new version may not have. But whatever, I just get annoyed at people that think that their opinion is the only one that matters when it come to which threads should be redirected snd which shoukd be mothballed.

I was just searching through the forums for anything related to Brno ZG47's and this thread popped up. I thought a member had picked up an extremely rare caliber and was simply interested

I for one appreciate that you revived this old thread rather than starting a new one. It get annoying when a title search is done and there are dozens of threads all on the same topic. Which “rabbit hole” does one choose??. Cant win anyways, start a new thread and some douche nozzle will come on with “this is old news, been discussed many times, the search function is your friend” ( which it is not really), and them when someone DOES do a search and redirects an old thread, some douche nozzle complains about resurrecting an old thread.
 
I don't even know what my white whale would be... Maybe time will tell. I only received my pal last year and I already have 2 Brno ZG47's in 30-06. One of them a carbine. I feel pretty lucky to have what I have

Maybe you need a CZ 21-H and a 21-F even or is it a 22-F ??
7x57 would be my suggestion ;)

This ^ is indeed the way of it. Either way, you're hooped.

The way the Search function works...unless there's a way to avoid it of which I'm unaware...a search results in a list of threads that seem to be completely jumbled up chronologically. Ten-year old threads mixed in randomly with yesterday's threads. It's very easy to unknowingly re-animate a long-dead thread just by clicking on it in that list. Sure, if you carefully watch the dates, you can avoid that, but who does that all that time?

Mind you, in other forums, you can still click on another post that was just made...without being aware that someone else has raised the dead and now you're contributing to it.

I just hope I don't live long enough to start worrying about such inconsequential crap. :)

Back when AR's were non restricted a friend tried to sell me a Colt SP1 w/ a Colt 3x optic. As a young man really early into a career I just retired from I wasn't willing to make that big a purchase. I should have made it work.
