Been looking at your chassis on GP and I'm curious how much stress can the 1913 rail the stock attaches to handle before it fails?

Same question goes for the pistol grip as well.

Your GP post mentions heat resistance but has that been tested?

I run my SKS's pretty hard when I take them out so curious how tough this chassis is, your other products I've bought in the past have been A+. :)

I've beaten the sh*t out of this one and it held. PPA-CF can handle up to 140 MPa of stress, annealing will add another 30% to that figure. Aluminium sits at 276 and wood at ~90

Yes, 200 rounds test with enough break between just to replace magazines. There is A LOT of air between the lower hand guard and the barrel and that's the part that gets the hottest. If it was sitting directly on the barrel, it would likely be a different story.

Things change if you go to -10c and lower, then it becomes more brittle. Still strong, but more brittle.

I’m usually not a fan of those chassis systems on those rifles as the sks never looks like it fits all that well and looks boxy. In this case though, good work!

Thanks, most are trying to make it look like an AK but it always looks weird because receiver is longer and wider.

This is the first time I've seen this chassis. Very interesting. Might have to give one a go.

Looks like I need to get a stock separately?
