Customer review of Tenda.

Wanted to make sure I'd have the latest version of a rifle that had updates and many dealers including Tenda still showed the prior version at the time.

Received a message back super fast, they checked inventory and confirmed they had the lastest version I wanted. Exchanged a few emails for other stuff as well and the response time and service was great.

Free shipping is always nice and the delivery time was really reasonable.

Thanks Tenda.

I ordered rifle and mags and wanted to know what is the status of the order and had some other questions. nobody answers their phone ever.

Send them an email, from my experience they usually get back the next business day.

Did my first order, the gmail threw me off. But so far no complaints. Emailed me shortly after that need to pay another 10$ for shipping, not a big deal as they covered most of shipping.

Same with me. Had to pay another $19. Almost half the shipping. But...where I live some shops just refuse to ship ammo to me. So..part of the cost of not living within the city limits of a large town I guess.

In my case it has to do with UPS not able/willing to ship dangerous goods to my address. Purolator would but cost more. Guessing it is because Tenda has an arrangement with UPS and not Purolator. In a way I'm ok with not using UPS. Always a poor shipping experience with UPS so I try not to support them.

Yeah it was 4000rd of ammo and 2000 primers. So 10$ for shipping I cannot complain.

Postal code says we are rural. But we are really not. I still get door to door mail delivery, and delivery by all couriers.

So placed an order May 8th, later that day they requested 10.72 for extra shipping cost.

Today May 11th, it was shipped by UPS.

I was expecting to send photo of my PAL/DL, being ammo in all. But nothing was asked other than info that was required when placed my order.

Got my primers Wednesday and ammo Thursday.

So for the first time dealing, it went as expected.

I am kind far from them and I pick up ammo in the store whenever I am around. The service is really nice but they do seem to have different guys working at the counter constantly. Not a huge problem for me, would be nice to know the staff there.

They also open 7 days a week, which is nice.

Ordered a scope from them last Wednesday, No updates
So on Friday I sent an email, tell them I need this scope for an upcoming match this Saturday the 13th.
They did promptly reply saying they are busy and it is now generally 2-4 business days before they ship.
Lol so I ask that since they are open Sat and Sunday that qualifies as business days... Lol nope.
Tuesday get an email that a note has been added to my order with a UPS tracking number. (we're at the 4 business day mark) at 11am
At almost 2 pm I get the email that my order is complete...
Just after 6pm I check the UPS tracking number... UPS reports it as an illegitimate #
So I email Tenda...
And they say the "UPS system is not updated, to check with them tomorrow, "

So I check back at 7:15pm and the UPS system says at 7:02 pm "Label Created" and get an email later from UPS saying package scheduled for tomorrow. ...
Lol so next day,
I send another email saying BS that it was shipped out. As it would be in the UPS system today and UPS still only says Label created yesterday. Point out they created the Label AFTER they told me the UPS system was not updated....
Reply this morning was "Unfortunately, it seems that the item could not fit onto the shipment that day, and will have to be shipped out today. "

Well it's the end of their business day, 5 "business days" after the order was placed... 45mins after they close...

And ALL UPS says they have from Tenda is a created label and no package.

You'd assume someone would have followed up that the order would have gone out..... Nope...

3rd times the charm, for not believing anything else they say...

Looks like the Sales department can't be trusted....

Looking at the google reviews,,,,, this seems to be a common theme with them... You pay, they don't ship.

Curious what their reply is going to be tomorrow.

Update: Package arrived! Looks like UPS does not scan packages when it leaves Tenda. Only when it arrives at the UPS sorting station.
So it arrived the 6th weekday after ordering. Not as good as they advertise, but still reasonable.
Also the silver cloud in all this was there was a major price drop on the scope!
I pointed out a competitor had dropped it $500 lower than Tenda,
Lol within the hour they dropped their advertised price $600 AND gave me the price match guarantee!!
AND sent me a $700 refund to my Credit card ($100 in taxes)!
So I definitely can't complain now about the slow shipping, Got me to test out their price matching and saved me $700!
Spuhr scope base came in today too, (early from another supplier) so now I have to get to the range.

Of all the years I've been dealing with Tenda, I have never had a problem.
Last order was on the 1st, received my CFP on the 2nd and my UPS notice.
My parcel was in Richmond last Friday.
The extra $10 they charge for "UPS Flat Rate Shipping" is fine by me. (y)
Pretty sure if they used CP... I'd still be waiting.

I thought I would give Tenda a shout out as in the past 12 months I've made 4 sizable orders from them, their packing/shipping standards are top notch, everything has always arrived in new condition, which is tough sometimes with current carriers. Communications is flawless once you've made a few orders from them, the two pieces of ID is just standard practice nowadays, some people don't like it, but that's communism for you.

The only downer I've had with Tenda is they keep throwing out the deals that I cannot say no to! The free ammo deals are veeeeeeery generous and lucrative if you put some thought into it! They only charge 5% to B.C. residents which is a win right off the back.

Best online shop in the country as for as I'm concerned!

Reading through this makes me think it's hit or miss with tenda. You might place your order on a good day or a bad day. You takes your chances.

I definitely wouldn't put Tenda in the 'Taking your chances' category, just make sure the necessary information has been provided and you don't order on a Thursday evening in B.C. and expect to have it arrive on Monday Morning (depending where you are in the country) and everyone will be fine.

My guess is that Tenda has anywhere between 5000-10000 firearms on hand at anytime and even more accessories, most any business will prioritize higher end items vs a person buying 2-3 Norincos or Churchills. No risk whatsoever with Tenda

The mail is slow unless paid for quicker shipping, bigger corporations will definitely have items out the door quicker than a place like Tenda.

I've bought ammunition from Tenda many times and their service is fast and efficient and their prices the best I can find on any given day. Until recently, I'd never bought a rifle from them and I was looking around for a lever action .44 magnum. They had the one I wanted at a great price. I filled out my online order in and a couple of days later, had my .44 in hand. Nice gun. Nice price. Nice service.

I definitely wouldn't put Tenda in the 'Taking your chances' category,
Then how do you explain the roughly 50/50 split on good delivery and bad? Personally I have ordered from them twice. Both times took about two weeks. So...as a result...I'll still buy from them, just not if I want something in a timely fashion. I received stuff from both Prophet River and Bullseye in five days. That is what I call timely delivery.

Well, you kind of just answered the question for me. The phrase 'Taking a Chance' is implying you may or may not receive an item in said condition or at all. Being in B.C., I expect anything from anywhere other than AB, to take a week or 10 days, depending what said item was ordered or what time it was placed even. Being in Ontario, I would question why would take as long as you mentioned, however it also depends on how you paid and time it was places. Paying by CC is fairly seamless, paying by EMT with Tenda had an instant 1 day delay on top of however long it takes for them to prepare the order.

Now, the phrase 'Taking a Chance' with shops (2nd and 3rd party opinions) like WM and XRLD, is a completely valid argument. I've heard multiple people say that orders have been canceled, cause of falsified quantities on hand and a few other have claimed CC fraud, isolated incidents I'm sure but much for valid and prevalent than Shipping delays with Tenda. To each their own, but with the quantity of orders I and friends have made with Tenda, if there was ever an issue, it was resolved promptly with both parties being happy.

That's just my dimwitted opinion and we all know how common opinions are nowadays.
