I recently got a Revic BR4 Range finder so I have been playing with their app. Seems to work pretty good! Really need to get some rifles dialed to the zero angle method and test it compared to 4dof.

I haven't found a decent web based replacement, yet
it does if configured rightI tried the Hornady app and it won't open without a connection.
How do I configure it to work offline? I have to set everything up ahead of time and save it?it does if configured right
be careful though, if you have saved favs to the phone and then connect to Horn and an update happens those favs are gone![]()
yes, build a rifle profile with gun specs and a specific bullet then save as Favourite , later parameters can be played with to match the load and weather du jour. I save several profiles for the same rifle with different bullets as the bullet info input is specific. Most info has to be 'proven' using the 'Axial Form Factor' to correct the ballistics, instead of traditional bullet BC numbersHow do I configure it to work offline? I have to set everything up ahead of time and save it?

I ran across the same problem when I upgraded the iPhone. They do have a back door transfer, for iPhone anyways, so I’m sure android as well when you upgrade the phone. As long as you already have the app you can transfer it.
I use mine on a regular basis, so would have a hard time moving to a different app.
Same. The drop charts are what I used it for. Im not much of an app guy, but found JBM pretty intuitive, and have zero experience with any other.Yeah I used JBM to make my drop charts so I could have something on paper
You can try this oneSame. The drop charts are what I used it for. Im not much of an app guy, but found JBM pretty intuitive, and have zero experience with any other.
Question for those here who are more app-informed: which of the apps mentioned would be on the more simpler/intuitive side and does simple drop charts a-la JBM easily? Thanks..
Thanks titch
This was a godsend. Just did this and worked, now all my newer-production reticles are reflected, which means I'm back to having the full use of the app I paid for...as long as I didn't just let the CCP into my phone ;P (immediately deleted Huawei AG again)Strelok Pro is a best. I have two licenses one on a on the go tablet and a next on my droid phone.
And YES, it updates regardless of sanctions. All the instructions are well documented at the official site.
Here how supposto go:
Don't go to Google Store but to Huawei AppGalery.
At the bottom right corner click on "Me" (that is you and your apps)
Jumps to next Tab "App updates", here you don't do anything but look at the orange/red dot somewhere in upper right corner followed by the " > " (inside dot most likely will be some number)
Again you got to a next Tab "Update Recommended"
Here do not volunteer and do not select Strelok Pro update alone, but scroll down and do UPDATE ALL highlighted in some color, in my case is blue.
That will update all from the list including Strelok. Let the AppGalery do the update, don't do yourself individually.
My current version is 8.3.4
