Ballistics App.

I recently got a Revic BR4 Range finder so I have been playing with their app. Seems to work pretty good! Really need to get some rifles dialed to the zero angle method and test it compared to 4dof.

I'm still using iSnipe because I like the interface and haven't found a reason to switch to something else.

Recently I plugged in the data for a 1300 yd shot and the app was within 2 clicks of elevation from where the rounds hit. I'd say that is more than good enough for my needs.

They all have their quirks..

I wouldn't consider myself and expert, but have tried (for myself!) a lot of what is available.

Got started with GeoBallistics, and it served me well. Very simple to use, and some fun mapping and topographical features 😎

Certainly worth checking out.

Strelok is cool because of all the reticles - if you are a visual person and want to use reticles for holdovers I don't think any other ap comes close in that department.

'Shooter' is the one I use most - I just like the drop cards and the interface (especially when it comes to 'truing' my data)

AB quantum and Hornady 4DOF are good, i just find them cumbersome personally 🤷‍♂️

Nice to have so many choices, it can be overwhelming at first though, especially the more complex ones 😅

a part of me died when I went to JBM recently

I haven't found a decent web based replacement, yet
JBM was mine too.. Ohh No...

How do I configure it to work offline? I have to set everything up ahead of time and save it?

yes, build a rifle profile with gun specs and a specific bullet then save as Favourite , later parameters can be played with to match the load and weather du jour. I save several profiles for the same rifle with different bullets as the bullet info input is specific. Most info has to be 'proven' using the 'Axial Form Factor' to correct the ballistics, instead of traditional bullet BC numbers

youtube can answer far better than I can

I ran across the same problem when I upgraded the iPhone. They do have a back door transfer, for iPhone anyways, so I’m sure android as well when you upgrade the phone. As long as you already have the app you can transfer it.
I use mine on a regular basis, so would have a hard time moving to a different app.

iMazing worked for me to transfer Strelok Pro to a new iPhone and iPad. It's free for a certain amount of transfers.

Strelok Pro is a best. I have two licenses one on a on the go tablet and a next on my droid phone.

And YES, it updates regardless of sanctions. All the instructions are well documented at the official site.

Here how supposto go:
Don't go to Google Store but to Huawei AppGalery.
At the bottom right corner click on "Me" (that is you and your apps)
Jumps to next Tab "App updates", here you don't do anything but look at the orange/red dot somewhere in upper right corner followed by the " > " (inside dot most likely will be some number)
Again you got to a next Tab "Update Recommended"
Here do not volunteer and do not select Strelok Pro update alone, but scroll down and do UPDATE ALL highlighted in some color, in my case is blue.
That will update all from the list including Strelok. Let the AppGalery do the update, don't do yourself individually.

My current version is 8.3.4
