RL1 if your going to TACCOM, could you ask these guys if they could get this platform (set up) made for 22WMR also using ruger 22wmr mags?

My good friends at FOC did a great review vid of the event with good coverage of the C22 (including shooting). Ian from O'Dell confirms fully ambi.

Thanks.
3:05 confirms short barrel and bolt release and price. All the ticks.
Good job O'Dell.

Looks like it has an extra nub on the back of the magazine and looking at the back profile at 2:53 when they are loading it makes me think the magazine head is wider to accomodate the BHO trip. So seems to be incompatible with the 10/22 that way.

as stated earlier it will accept 10/22 mags but the c22 mags wont work in a 10/22

I was more ruminating on what the C22 rifle did to make it's own proprietary magazine. I'm glad they didn't just install a nub or rib and call it a day, the BHO imo is a must have in 2026.

No one else is bothered by the cutouts on the mag well?

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited and very grateful, and I'm not saying that it completely ruins the rifle for me, in fact I'm saying the rifle looks wicked in literally every other way except for this one glaring flaw which is especially tragic because seems to be there for absolutely no reason.

It looks like someone put a lot of time and effort into the design for it to look and function like a "real" AR... so why carve this random, ugly, asymmetrical geometric pattern into the sides of the mag well when the AR is utilitarian by design and doesn't have anything like this? It looks bad, it looks fragile, and for what benefit?
