Nope I'm not. Palestine doesn't get called Israel until 1948 obviously. Watch the video ;) it is about 1899-1917 and actually goes into great and imo relevant details to this thread about IWI, and about the smokeless gunpowder arms race in Europe. She names all the names as well as the chemistry and formulation of cordite and patent infringements for smokeless powder.

Britain colonizes Palestine, calls it mandatory Palestine, IWI actually claims to existed since then (LOL).

Frankly this rifle being made in USA is even more comical and a commentary on their sad state of politics and external interference.

The fact IOF dropped the Tavor for the OR-4 says a lot about their quality and/or how they have money printed for them.
You dropped out of highschool huh?

Where does all the weight even come from?
If it was pencil barrel, polymer and ultralight I’d get it but at 8.5 ish pounds I don’t get it
Without breaking down and weighing individual components;
1) there is a steel liner inside the polymer upper frame, not entirely unlike in the Tavor.
2)though pencil thin, the barrel is hammer forged
3) the alloy front had guard is substantial.

I’m m not clear why IWI felt it needed 1/2” between the inside edges of the hand guard and the barrel.

But it is a Chonkie piece. Best guess in my hand, it’s about a pound North of what a rifle in its class should weight in at.

Bummer. Something that costs $2500-$3K, I had better be in love with it for me to be happy. Maybe wait for a range trip before you pass judgement though. I've fondled many a gun and thought, meh...but then couldn't miss at the range and my initial thoughts were dashed. I hope this is the case for you in any regard.

Is the barrel chrome lined?
It is indeed chrome lined

Bear in mind, this isn’t the Canadian non-restricted model however. I can’t speak in any regard to the final Canadian market 18.6” barrel product.

Again - I like it? I just didn’t get that feeling I got picking up my first (or second or third or last) Swiss Arms rifle.

Stripped it for the first time to get a better feel for it.

I’m in Class 1 driving school presently and spare time is kind of at a premium. Range time for me may be a couple months out.

who cares? Human will wage wars using whatever reasons they find convenience

I suppose a working gun bringing smiles on my face. Not ones with QC issues. fact is that Makasi's manufacturer knew their guns having QC issues for a long time but only decided to fix after feeling the heat from Canadians. I doubt they've done anything properly other than fixing some cosmetic issues.
Yes, doubt you would say that if it was your kinfolk on the receiving end, God forbid.

Oh I don't know how can I carry on with your harsh opinion 🤣. I should immediately get myself a something nice. Probably another Carmel...
Yes, buy another camel, so that they can keep causing the price of gas to rise and then wonder why you food so expensive all of sudden

Actually go over to Facebook immediately.
This is the place to discuss firearms not your politics
So yeah..back on the topic. It seems like there no much info about "Brigade Manufacturing Inc." While it's mentioned as company , making some AR's there are not too many reviews on the quality.
