I recently injured my shoulder and its likely not going to fully recover. I was at the range the other day and firing the .338 is causing me problems. I have a .308 , a couple SKS' a .223. I have also gotten back into the habit of looking at what is for sale these days. I am looking for a gun/cartridge combo to replace my .338 for moose. I am also really enjoying the spirited long range shooting discussion in this forum. So would like to buy accuracy at the same time for next year at Summerland. Money is not really the issue, but I am thrifty and expect value. I think its time to go with a synthetic stock , maybe stainless and I still have to carry it.
